Roger Patrick has extensive work experience in business development and project management within the aerospace industry. Roger started their career as a Software Engineer at Marconi Avionics Ltd in 1979, where they worked on hardware and software engineering. In 1981, they joined Christian Rovsing International A/S, where they served as a Software Engineer and later became a Project Manager, Department Manager, and Business Development Manager. During this time, they were responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and delivery of satellite checkout systems. In 1998, they joined Terma Space as a Business Development Director, covering ground systems, test systems, and services. Their role expanded to include countries like the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, the UK, and France. Roger developed a wide network of contacts within key space organizations in Europe. Additionally, they held the position of Business Development Director at Terma from 1981 onwards.

Roger Patrick attended Harrow County Grammar School for Boys from 1969 to 1976, where they obtained their 'A' Levels in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. From 1976 to 1979, they studied physics at the University of Nottingham.
