Ken Rafanan is a Senior Education Researcher at TERC, specializing in the research, design, and implementation of technology-enriched learning solutions for various clients, including the US Department of Education and the National Science Foundation, focusing on middle school and pre-K mathematics, teacher professional development, and STEM integration. Prior to TERC, Ken worked as a Research Social Scientist at SRI International, where similar projects were undertaken, and as an Instructor at the Children's Health Council, designing curricula for special education students. Ken also served as the Executive Director of OpenVoice, a nonprofit aimed at enhancing critical thinking and technical skills among local teens, and worked as a Transportation Planner for the City of Menlo Park. Ken holds a Master's degree in Education from Stanford University.
