Krystian Nowak has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Krystian started their career as an Intern in Surveying & Mapping at the Florida Department of Transportation from August 2009 to May 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Student Intern Researcher at the Florida State & FAMU College of Engineering in the Crashworthiness and Impact Analysis Laboratory for three months. Krystian then joined ExxonMobil as a Cooperative Education Student from July 2012 to December 2012. Krystian then transitioned to Southern Company Gas as an Intermediate Engineer from January 2015 to August 2017. At Ameresco, they held multiple roles including Associate Project Engineer from August 2017 to May 2018, Associate Project Development Engineer from June 2018 to April 2021, and, lastly, as a Project Engineer from April 2021 to March 2023. Most recently, in March 2023, Krystian joined TeraWatt Infrastructure as the Commercial & Strategy Lead, Microgrids.
Krystian Nowak obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, attending from 2010 to 2014. Following this, Nowak pursued a Master's degree in Energy Systems at Northeastern University from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, from 2017 to 2018, Nowak was a Gordon Fellow and earned a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Leadership from The Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership at Northeastern University.
