Karl Martens serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Teradyne Robotics since October 2024, focusing on enhancing manufacturing efficiency through robotics. Prior to this role, Karl held the position of Vice President of Finance for Software & Control at Rockwell Automation from November 2020 to September 2024, where responsibilities included strategic planning and software transformation. At National Grid from July 2018 to November 2020, Karl acted as a Finance Business Partner and Shared Services Lead, overseeing financial performance and providing insights for critical services. Karl has extensive experience from Aspen Technology, where roles included VP of Global Business Planning & Sales Operations and VP of Global Revenue Finance, managing teams and leading initiatives in revenue recognition and strategic planning. Early career experiences include various finance management roles at Nortel from February 2000 to October 2008, culminating in significant contributions to operational finance and revenue management. Karl holds a BS in Economics from Wabash College, obtained between 1987 and 1991.
