Director, People And Culture at Terabase Energy

Julie Rich has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Julie began their career as an AOR-Refugee Resettlement Intern at Opening Doors, Inc., where they were responsible for completing federal immigration forms and advising clients on immigration options.

Julie then worked as an HR Regional Partner at Calypso Technology, where they managed employee files, handled payroll paperwork, and conducted new hire orientation.

Julie later served as an HR Generalist and Benefits Manager at Century Communities, Inc. During this time, they managed employee benefit programs, facilitated open enrollment, and supported multiple offices nationwide with HR issues.

Julie then joined Baseline Engineering Corporation as an HR Manager, where they developed and implemented HR processes, managed employee relations, and handled vendor relationships.

Julie then transitioned to Northrop Grumman as a Principal Human Resources Business Partner, serving as an HR liaison and consultant to management on talent management, employee relations, and compensation.

Most recently, they worked at Terabase Energy, first as a Senior Manager and then as the Director of People and Culture. In these roles, they developed the HR function from the ground up, established processes for compensation planning and DEI efforts, and managed relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Julie Rich pursued their education by completing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University between 2006 and 2010. Later, they attended the University of Galway from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Post-graduate Diploma in Economics. Subsequently, in 2012 to 2013, Julie Rich pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the same university, specializing in Peace Support Operations, Humanitarian Law, and Conflict. Additionally, Julie Rich has acquired certifications as a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci and in Managing the Hybrid Workforce from HRCI, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
