Lauri Piekkari currently serves as a Member of the Investment Advisory Committee for the Finnish State Nuclear Waste Management Fund since September 2021. With an extensive career in finance and risk management, Lauri has held the position of Chairman at the TVO Personnel Fund since June 2004 and Senior Vice President of Treasury and Risk Management at Teollisuuden Voima Oyj since September 2002. Additional roles include serving as a Member of the Finance and Investment Advisory Committee for EMANI and ELINI since June 2010, Vice President at Sampo Fund Management from November 2000 to September 2002, General Manager of the Sampo Bank London Branch from September 1998 to November 2000, and Treasurer for Fingrid Oyj from April 1997 to November 1998. Lauri's career began as an Account Manager at Leonia Bank from 1994 to 1997 and as an Assistant Manager at Postipankki from 1987 to 1994. Lauri holds a Master’s Degree from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
