Tom Drabenstott currently serves as a Principal Engineer specializing in AI Accelerator Microarchitecture at Tenstorrent Inc. since September 2023. Tom has a significant background in digital integrated circuit design, holding the title of Principal Engineer at Marvell Technology from February 2019 to the present, and previously serving in various senior engineering roles at Qualcomm from June 2004 to January 2019. Drabenstott’s early career includes positions at Infineon, Vitesse Semiconductor, Orologic Inc., NEC Electronics, BOPS, Intel, and IBM, showcasing a diverse range of expertise in physical design and microarchitecture. Tom Drabenstott earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
