Manan Salvi is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in RTL design and micro-architecture implementation. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Design Engineer at Tenstorrent Inc. since April 2021, Manan specializes in first-generation RISC-V Vector Extension design. Prior experience includes roles as an SMTS Design Engineer at AMD, focusing on Out of Order Load Store Units and x86 Instruction Decode Units, and as a Design Engineer at Cavium Networks, where contributions were made in micro-architecture/RTL design for various IPs, including custom digital circuit designs. Manan's career also includes engineering work at Freescale Semiconductor Inc., optimizing H.264 on ARM Cortex processors, and designing H.264 decoders at Jetstream Media Technologies Corp. Manan holds a Masterā€™s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
