Kimber Smith has a diverse work history in the entertainment industry. Starting in 2002, they worked at DreamWorks SKG as a Creative Coordinator, overseeing the international versioning of film and TV titles. Kimber then moved on to New Deal Productions, where they served as an Executive Assistant and LA Production Office Manager for John Singleton. From 2007 to 2009, Kimber worked at Genius Products, coordinating the production of creative assets for Weinstein Company titles. Kimber then joined Snoot Entertainment as a Director of Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, where they managed national partnerships and marketing strategies. In 2014, they became a Senior Project Manager at the Entertainment Industry Foundation, overseeing the development of a high school cancer research mentorship program. Kimber later worked at Movember as a Social Impact Campaigns Manager, managing multi-million dollar strategic partnerships and mass media behavior change initiatives. Currently, Kimber is the Head of Social Impact Content & Partnerships at Tennis Channel.
Kimber Smith has a Master of Public Policy degree in Media, Art & Entertainment Policy from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. They also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Anthropology from Tufts University. Additionally, Kimber Smith has obtained certifications in "Leading Successful Programs: Using Evidence to Assess Effectiveness" from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education, "Strategic Partnerships" from LinkedIn Learning, and "Program Management Foundations" from LinkedIn Learning.
