Vera Brenzel is a seasoned professional in public affairs and communications, currently serving as a Member of The Supervisory Board at Equigy since October 2023 and as Director of Public Affairs and Communication at TenneT since 2020. In addition, Vera holds positions on the Supervisory Board of Agora Energiewende, Landesverband Brüssel in the Wirtschaftsrat der CDU e.V., and has extensive experience at E.ON, where roles included Head of Political Affairs and Head of the EU representative office. Early career experience includes positions at Eurelectric and the EU Commission. Vera holds a degree in Advanced European Economic Studies from the College of Europe, a Diplom-Kauffrau from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and completed the Abitur at Colegio Humboldt.
