Sjoerd Kop is a project manager at TenneT since July 2020, working on innovative initiatives such as the CROF Forecasting project, which aims to enhance operational processes through load and generation forecasts amid increasing weather dependency. Sjoerd also contributes as a business consultant on the Control Room of the Future program, addressing challenges of the energy transition. Prior to this role, Sjoerd served as Head Teacher for Mathematics at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden, overseeing a team of assistant teachers and engaging with approximately 25 students. Sjoerd's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Technische Bestuurskunde from Delft University of Technology, supplemented by various roles including graduate intern and mentoring positions at TU Delft.
