Erica Reed is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in various legal domains. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Attorney and Director of the Office of Administrative Appeals at the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging, Erica focuses on policy and contract law, employment law, legislation, administrative law, open records requests, HIPAA, conservatorship, and estate planning. Prior to this role, Erica worked as Assistant General Counsel, where responsibilities included similar areas of practice. From January 2007 to September 2013, Erica operated as an attorney in private practice, addressing family law, criminal defense, child dependency and neglect, civil collections, and estate planning among other legal matters. Erica holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Nashville School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminal Justice Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
