Walter Plaza B.S.H.Ed, RRT, RRT-ACCS is an experienced respiratory therapist and clinical account manager with a diverse background in healthcare. Currently serving as a Nightshift Charge Therapist at St. Vincent's HealthCare since January 2017, Walter Plaza oversees task delegation based on patient acuity, performs emergency procedures such as bedside bronchoscopy, manages ventilators, and contributes to educational initiatives within the department. In addition, Walter Plaza has held roles such as Clinical Account Manager at NeVap and health promotions intern at the American Lung Association. Prior experience includes registered respiratory therapist positions in various critical care settings and an assistant manager role in retail. Walter Plaza holds a BS in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida, along with an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care from Daytona State College.
