Jose Torrens

Director Integrated Marketing Communications at Tenet Healthcare

Jose Torrens has a strong background in integrated marketing communications and auditing. Jose began their career as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and then moved on to roles at CORPORACION INLACA, C.A. and Kraft Foods Global, Inc. as an Internal Auditor and Senior Corporate Auditor, respectively. Jose then joined Newell Rubbermaid as a Senior Auditor in the Global Internal Audit Department, where they led SOX compliance, fraud, and financial/operational audits. Jose also worked at The Coca-Cola Company as an Integrated Marketing Content Manager, managing agency partnerships and executing strategic campaigns. Jose later joined Dr Pepper Snapple Group as an Integrated Marketing Content Manager, focusing on creative content and strategy development. Most recently, Jose served as the Director of Integrated Marketing Communications at Tenet Healthcare, where they oversaw a $30M marketing budget and led a transformational effort to create a centralized and consumer-focused marketing organization.

Jose Torrens earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad de Carabobo, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Jose later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their degrees, Jose Torrens holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Venezuelan Accounting Association, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
