Yara Asmar currently serves as Vice President in Strategy and Communications at Teneo, a global CEO advisory firm, since January 2024. Prior to this role, Yara was the Resident Program Manager at the International Republican Institute and held several positions at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, including Regional Strategy Manager for the Middle East and North Africa and Senior Project Manager. Yara's previous experience also includes roles as a Research Assistant at Central European University, Volunteer Archivist at Open Society Archives, and Project Manager at May Chidiac Foundation - Media Institute. Yara holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Central European University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Art with an emphasis in Journalism from Notre Dame University - Louaize.
