Nico is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the blockchain and decentralized finance sectors. As co-founder and CTO of Tenderize since April 2021, Nico focuses on bridging decentralized internet with financial solutions. Nico is also the founder of Livepool, the pioneering "video mining" pool on the Livepeer network, enabling users to earn revenue through video format conversion since May 2020. Previously, Nico contributed as a Protocol Engineer at Livepeer, where efforts were directed towards developing open-source decentralized video infrastructure for Web 3.0. Nico has held roles as a consultant at USG Professionals Belgium and as Blockchain Lead at Design is Dead. Earlier, Nico co-founded Alt Street, specializing in smart contract services, and worked as a recruiter at BIMONA, focusing on IT and engineering talent. Educational credentials include a postgraduate degree in Computer Science from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen and a Bachelor's degree from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool.
