Meag Sargent is a marketing communications professional with diverse experience in various roles across the horticulture and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist at Tend since February 2023, Meag previously worked at Farm from a Box as a Sales & Marketing Associate and briefly as a Crop and Farm Health Specialist at Freight to Plate. Additional experience includes positions as an Administrative & Communications Coordinator at Urban Growers Collective, Manager and Horticulturist at Plant Shop Chicago, and Greenhouse Lead at Gotham Greens. Meag started a career in research as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also worked as an English Second Language Teacher with AIESEC in Peru, alongside serving as an Urban Farming Instructor at Community GroundWorks. Meag holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticultural Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
