Kento Akiyama serves as the founder of Japan's Venture Academy since April 2022 and holds a product position at Tenchijin starting May 2024. Previous roles include analyst at Lifetime Ventures from September 2023 to March 2024, coding instructor at Code Chrysalis from June 2022 to February 2024, and head of volunteers at Takeoff Tokyo from March 2023 to June 2023. Akiyama has also worked as a product manager at Forget.finance in mid-2021 and has experience as a data analyst with Capmo and DataGuard in 2020. Consulting experience includes a role at Academy Consult München e.V. from April 2016 to February 2019 and management consulting at Horváth & Partners in 2018. Educational background includes a Visiting Student Researcher position at the University of California, Berkeley, and an Honors Degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management. Akiyama holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and has experience in statistics and computer science education.
