Wei Xue is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning and online advertisement systems. Currently serving as a Tech Lead and Expert Engineer at Tencent since April 2011, Wei has been pivotal in developing large-scale machine learning solutions for CTR, CVR, and LTV prediction, contributing significantly to Tencent's revenue through online advertisement. Prior to Tencent, Wei worked at International Business Machines from May 2006 to April 2011 as a Research Staff Member and Staff Researcher, focusing on architectural design and performance tuning. Wei holds a Ph.D. in Computer Software and Theory, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Beihang University, where studies were completed from 1994 to 2006.
