Darshan Patel is a Mechanical Engineering student at Temple University, expected to graduate in December 2024, with a background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Darshan has served as the Temple Robotics Senior Advisor and President since May 2018, leading the NASA Robotic Mining Competition team and significantly increasing membership in the organization. As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation from July 2020 to October 2023, Darshan contributed engineering expertise, and prior involvement with the Temple University COVID-19 Assistance Team involved producing protective face shields for Temple Hospital.
