Mauro Silva

Head Of Product Management at Tempest Security Intelligence

Mauro Silva has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mauro is currently the Head of Product Management at Tempest Security Intelligence, where they oversee the planning and execution of the company's products. Prior to this, Mauro worked as a Product Manager and Product Owner at the same company.

Before joining Tempest Security Intelligence, Mauro co-founded Pling Ideas in 2011 and served as the Owner and Co-Founder. In this role, they were responsible for managing and executing various aspects of the business, including digital marketing.

From 2006 to 2019, Mauro worked at C.E.S.A.R, where they held positions such as Tech Project Manager, Team Leader, and Product Lead. Mauro worked on innovative projects for companies like Motorola, HP, Google, and Dell, focusing on improving team productivity, client relationships, and building strong teams.

In 2012, Mauro co-founded Green Street Mobile Social Network, a social mobile network focused on bike riders and urban mobility. Although the business model was not successful, Green Street was recognized as a finalist in the Porto Digital Challenge to the Sustainability of Cities.

Earlier in their career, Mauro worked as a Teacher and Advisor at Faculdade dos Guararapes and as a Software Leader at FITec. Mauro also had experience as a Software Engineer and Palm Developer at Mobile S.A. & Radix, where they managed teams and developed various mobile applications.

Throughout their career, Mauro has showcased their skills in product management, team leadership, project planning, software development, and digital marketing.

Mauro Silva has a strong educational background in the fields of business, management, marketing, and computer engineering. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Following this, from 1996 to 2000, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Católica de Pernambuco. Mauro further advanced their knowledge by completing an MSc in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco between 2002 and 2004. Recently, in 2021, they attended Fundação Dom Cabral, where they completed the Executive Development Program in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
