Cody Nystrom began their career in 2007 as Managing Director of SJF Ventures, a venture capital fund that invests in high growth companies positively impacting the world. In 2013, they became a Board Director at Versify Solutions, which helps clients optimize asset performance, reduce risk and drive significant costs savings and revenue. In 2014, Nystrom joined the Board of Directors at Validic, a healthcare industry digital health platform. In 2015, they joined the Board of Directors at Cecelia Health, a technology-enabled personalized health coaching solution. In 2016, they became a Board Observer at Solera Health, a personalized preventive health network. In 2017, they joined the Board of Directors at TemperPack, which solves thermal packaging problems through sustainable design and innovative materials. In 2019, they became a Board Observer at PierianDx, a company focused on advancing cancer diagnostics and making targeted therapeutics more accessible. In 2021, Nystrom joined the Board of Directors at both Ellipsis Health and Take Command Health. Ellipsis Health pioneers an artificial intelligence-powered, speech-based vital sign to quantify and manage stress, depression, and anxiety symptoms, while Take Command Health is a tech-enabled service startup on a mission to create a consumer-centric healthcare system. Later that same year, they joined the Board of Directors at mPulse Mobile, the leader in Conversational AI solutions for the healthcare industry.

Cody Nystrom obtained a Bachelor of Science in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia between 2001 and 2005.
