Joerg Mick has a wealth of work experience in the fields of engineering, technology, and solar energy. In 2014, they began working as a Senior Engineer Microtechnologies and Director of the Freiburg Branch at temicon GmbH. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Technology and Vice President at Holotools GmbH from 2008. Before that, they were a Scientific Employee at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE from 2006.

Joerg Mick began their educational journey in 1996 when they enrolled at The University of Freiburg to pursue a degree in Microsystem Technologies. Joerg graduated in 2001 with a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.) degree. Joerg then returned to The University of Freiburg and completed a Dr.-Ing. degree in Microsystem Technologies in 2005.
