Jerome Birot is a transformational leader with extensive experience in telecommunications, currently serving as VP of Telco Cloud, Core Networks and Services at TELUS since January 2008. Birot drives the strategy and development of cloud infrastructure, wireless core networks, and telephony services, focusing on the transformation of 5G and IoT core networks to enhance user experience and reliability. Birot's prior roles at TELUS include VP positions in Voice Services, Wireless Core DevOps, Mobile Broadband Networks, and Small Cell enablement, along with leadership in Technology Strategy. Previous experience includes product management roles at 724 Solutions, Redknee Inc., Hutchison 3G, as well as engineering roles at Lucent and Altran. Birot holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications from ESME, école d'ingénieurs généraliste, completed in 1998.
