LuÃs Miguel Mendes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. LuÃs Miguel is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Tellus since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Critical TechWorks as a Rockstar Developer from July 2020 to July 2021.
Before that, LuÃs worked at IBM in various roles. From September 2019 to July 2020, they served as a Developer, DevOps, and was responsible for handling support contracts worldwide and managing organization financial data. Prior to that, from September 2018 to September 2019, they worked as a Test Automation Developer, DevOps, where they created and automated acceptance tests and managed a QA web application.
LuÃs Miguel also gained experience at AT&T as a Signaling IP Link Engineer from June 2017 to September 2018. There, they were involved in the design of the IP Link Engineering and SS7 Network and developed applications for managing new nodes in the VoIP network.
Earlier in their career, LuÃs worked at Vodafone as a Mobile Network Transmission Planning Telecommunications Engineer from June 2015 to June 2017. LuÃs Miguel was responsible for managing the Vodafone transmission mobile network and played a role in the acceptance and deployment of the new Mobile Backhaul.
LuÃs Miguel started their professional journey at Portugal Telecom as an IPTV Service and Platform Telecommunications Engineer from May 2014 to May 2015. LuÃs was involved in the management of TV and VOD contents in the Mediaroom platform and contributed to the design and development of a new platform.
Lastly, LuÃs worked as a Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações from July 2013 to April 2014.
LuÃs Miguel Mendes pursued their education at the Instituto Superior Técnico from 2007 to 2014. During this time, they completed a Master's degree in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering. Alongside their academic achievements, they also obtained several additional certifications. In February 2014, they successfully passed the Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (ECPE) offered by the University of Michigan. Furthermore, in June 2018, they acquired the certification for Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) from Cisco. Most recently, in April 2022, LuÃs Miguel Mendes achieved the certification of Professional Scrum Masterâ„¢ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org.
