Muhammad Faris Ruriawan is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of information security, currently serving as a lecturer at Telkom University since August 2017. Previously, Muhammad held positions as an engineer at Elektroteknika Utama ITB, where expertise was applied in mobile device forensics, mobile malware, and incident response. As a research assistant at the ITB Cyber Security Center, focus areas included malware, digital forensics, and privacy rights, along with conducting penetration testing and security audits. Muhammad also contributed as a system analyst for Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Bandung and worked as a system administrator for the ITB-SKACI Jabar Smart School project. Early career experiences include a research assistant role at Seculab Telkom University, specializing in Android malware analysis, and an internship at Telekomunikasi Indonesia. Muhammad holds a Master of Engineering in Computer and Information Systems Security from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Telkom University.
