Thorsten Melcher is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as SVP of Global Business Development and Alliance Management at Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited since April 2024. Previously, Thorsten held the title of Chief Business Officer at RefleXion Medical from 2019 to April 2024, and Chief Business Officer at Xyphos in 2018. Additional roles include Senior Director of Business Development at Calico Labs, Senior Director of New Ventures at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, and various executive positions at Varian Medical Systems and Saegis Pharmaceuticals. Thorsten founded EnVivo Pharmaceuticals and AGY Therapeutics, where Thorsten served as Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Research, respectively. Thorsten began their career as a scientist at Lynx Therapeutics Inc. Thorsten holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University and has completed postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco. Additional education includes a MSc in Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, and Immunology from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
