Anne McKenzie has extensive experience in community engagement and advocacy within the health sector. Currently serving as an Adjunct Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia's School of Population and Global Health since September 2018, and as the Community Engagement Manager at Telethon Kids Institute since April 2019, McKenzie has made significant contributions to public health initiatives. Additionally, McKenzie has a long tenure as a Consumer Advocate, beginning in January 1994 with ongoing involvement in various capacities, including a notable position at the University of Western Australia from January 2004 to February 2019.
