Mika Kavanti

Vice President, Sales (europe) at Teleste

Mika Kavanti has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development in the technology industry. Mika started their career at FujitsuICL Computers Oy as a Planning Manager from 1995 to 1997. Mika then joined Nokia and held various roles, including Area Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Senior Manager of Product Marketing & Business Development, and Head of System Marketing for Mobile TV. During their time at Nokia, they were responsible for marketing strategies, sales support, and integrations. In 2007, Mika joined Teleste and served as the Business Director for Video Server Platforms and later as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing & Channel Sales. Mika was responsible for managing marketing and communication teams, implementing go-to-market strategies, and driving brand renewal. In 2018, they became the Chief Marketing Officer at Teleste, overseeing marketing activities, lead management, and brand implementation. Most recently, Mika served as the Vice President of Sales for Teleste, responsible for network product sales in Europe and the EMEA region. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, brand management, and business development in the technology sector.

Mika Kavanti completed their Matriculation examination at Turun Klassikon Lukio from 1984 to 1987. Mika then pursued a M.Sc. (Econ.) degree in Economics from Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, graduating in 1993. In 2005, they attended London Business School for Executive Education, focusing on Operator Business Strategies. In 2016, they participated in the CTAM Europe Executive Management Programme at INSEAD.
