Eleanor Shatova is an accomplished AI engineer and technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in data science and machine learning. Currently serving as a Founding AI Engineer at Telescope since January 2023, Eleanor previously founded The Department Technologies, holding the position of CTO from September 2021 to January 2023. Eleanor participated in the LD17 Cohort at Entrepreneur First from August 2021 to January 2023, where deep technology startups are facilitated. Prior roles include Data Scientist at Streetbees and Machine Learning Engineer at both Plural AI and Needl Analytics Ltd, along with internships focused on machine learning and natural language processing. Eleanor's earlier career includes a project analyst role at Worldpay within a big data programme and contract administration at ICAP. Eleanor holds an MSc in Web Science and Big Data Analytics and a BSc in Physics, both from UCL.
