Neeraj Kumar's work experience begins in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer at L&T Infotech, where they worked on network processor families. Neeraj then joined IP Infusion in 2011, where they served as a Tech Lead responsible for platform software development. In 2012, Neeraj joined Microsemi Corporation as an Application Staff Engineer and later became a Technical Lead. At Microsemi, they managed customer issues and handled root-cause analysis for various networking applications. Neeraj's academic involvement includes independent studies and research projects at the University of Zurich, where they focused on emotion detection in conversations and the application of machine learning in database indexing. Most recently, Neeraj has been working as a Machine Learning Researcher at Private Alpha Switzerland AG and will soon take on the role of Senior Data Scientist at Telepathy Labs.

Neeraj Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from YMCA University of Science & Technology from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Informatics with a specialization in Data Science from the University of Zurich between 2019 and 2021.
