Peter Barrelid

Tech Lead Digital Workplace & Corporate IT at Telenor

Peter Barrelid has a diverse work experience in various roles within the telecommunications industry. Peter began their career at Telenor Sverige AB as a Customer Service Agent and Sales Coach, providing support to consumer customers and later transitioning to Small and Medium Enterprise support. After that, they served as a Support and Training Manager, responsible for the training program for Customer Service Small and Medium Enterprises. Peter then worked as a Technical Contact Center Consultant, specializing in technical troubleshooting for large enterprises. Peter also worked at Uniflex as a Test Engineer and Test Leader, focused on software testing and quality assurance for consumer mobile IT projects. Peter later joined Telenor Sverige AB again as a Business Analyst, playing a vital role in improving internal IT tools and processes in collaboration with vendors. Currently, Peter is employed as a Tech Lead in Digital Workplace and Corporate IT, overseeing the modern virtual work environment and IT tools used by Telenor employees.

Peter Barrelid has pursued education in various fields over the years. In 2006, they completed their studies in Naturvetenskap at Knut Hahnskolan Gymnasieskola. Later, they attended Umeå University and focused on Datakommunikation until 2017. From 2015 to 2016, Peter studied English and English literature at Luleå University of Technology. Peter then enrolled at Kristianstad University from 2016 to 2018, majoring in Business Economics. Additionally, in 2017 and 2018, they pursued Business Economics at Linnaeus University. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, Peter earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Management from Lund University.
