Kate Engels has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Kate started their career as a consultant at Deloitte Belgium, where they gained experience in process analysis, project management, IT auditing, and IT services maturity assessments. Kate also achieved certifications in ITIL, COBIT 5, and CBCI. Kate then worked as a Senior Consultant at HeadMind Partners before joining Telenet as an IT Process Expert and later as an IT Transformation & Integration Manager. In their current role at Telenet, they serve as a Tribe Lead for Customer Interaction Platforms & Automation, focusing on enhancing customer interactions through digital tools and automation. Kate also had internships at Ginion Group and Antea Group, where they gained experience in sales, marketing, and business development. Additionally, they completed an internship in business development at AWS Corporation.

Kate Engels obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Commercial/Business Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2011. Kate then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Business and Technology from Solvay Brussels School of Economic and Management, completing it in 2013. In addition to their formal education, Kate also obtained several certifications, including Digital Leadership, Design Thinking for Innovation, Digital Transformation, Professional Scrum Product Owner, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), AgilePMâ„¢ Foundation, Certificate of Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), COBIT 5, and ITIL Foundation. The years of obtaining these certifications range from 2014 to 2022.
