Tushar Ghosh has significant work experience in the field of electronics and engineering. Tushar started their career as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Jadavpur University in 1993, before moving to the Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute in 1994, where they worked as a Scientist for ten years. In 2004, Tushar joined Teledyne e2v as the Chief Design Specialist, where they are currently employed.

Tushar Ghosh obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering from Lancaster University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002.
