Shane Hazzard is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience at Tektronix since February 1997, currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering. In this role, Shane leads a cross-functional team to shift development towards a strategic platform approach. Previous positions include Head of ASIC Engineering and System Architecture, where leadership of a team of RF analog IC designers and signal path architects focuses on technology roadmap development, and Senior Manager and Systems Architect, responsible for creating system architectures that address complex measurement tasks. Other roles at Tektronix include Senior Engineering Manager, Principal Hardware Engineer, and Hardware Design Engineer, where Shane contributed to advancing technologies and product quality. Prior to Tektronix, Shane gained experience as a Student Worker at Oregon State University, building a modern database for the University Archives. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oregon State University and Oregon Health & Science University, respectively.
