Forrest Lybarger began their career in 2016 as an Operations Intern at L3 Technologies. In 2017, they became a Business Analyst Intern at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. In 2018, they were a Software Development Intern at SunTrust. In 2019, they became a Junior Developer (Part-Time) at SunTrust, and also began working at TekStream Solutions as a Senior Splunk Consultant. At TekStream, Forrest provided front to end service in professional services, implemented and administered Splunk environments, designed and implemented Splunk alerts and reports, developed Splunk dashboards, implemented and administered multi-tiered deployment server environments, and onboarded many log types. Forrest also provided thought leadership at TekStream through blogs, tech tips, and brown-bag sessions.

Forrest Lybarger completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University in 2019. Forrest has also obtained five certifications from Splunk, including the Splunk Core Certified Consultant (April 2020), Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect (October 2019), Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin (August 2019), Splunk Core Certified Power User (July 2019), and Splunk Core Certified User (July 2019).
