Ryan Collins

Executive Strategic Acquisition Program Management Support at Tecolote Research

Ryan Collins has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan began their career as a USAF Space Command Officer in 1998 and served in this role until 2005. Ryan then became a USAFR Space Command Officer as a Traditional Reservist from 2006 to 2011. In 2007, Ryan joined Boeing Satellite Systems as a Satellite Mission & Planner Lead, Mission Systems Engineer, and Flight Director. During their time at Boeing, they successfully planned and executed space system launch and early-orbit missions, integrated new technologies, and led real-time mission operations teams. In 2014, Ryan transitioned to the role of Operations Products IPT Lead at Boeing Satellite Systems, where they managed cross-functional teams and developed technical operational documentation, procedures, software, and engineering tools. Ryan held this role until 2018. From 2019 to 2021, Ryan worked at Boeing as a Flight Operations Products Lead, responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and engineering teams to create technical operational documentation, procedures, software, and databases. Currently, Ryan is working at Tecolote Research as Executive Strategic Acquisition / Program Management Support.

Ryan Collins has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the United States Air Force Academy. The specific field of study for the MBA is not provided. In addition to their degrees, Ryan has obtained three certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, Control Account Manager from Boeing, and Aerospace Project Management from Caltech. The PMP certification was obtained in November 2021, the Control Account Manager certification in August 2014, and the Aerospace Project Management certification in September 2009.
