James Janik

James Janik has extensive work experience in the field of sales and engineering. Beginning in 1991, they worked at Ansaldo Ross Hill, serving as a Field Service Engineer from January 1991 to June 1995. In this role, they commissioned and serviced medium voltage VFD's worldwide, across various industries including chemical, power, cement, paper, mining, pipelines, and water treatment.

After that, Janik worked as a Project Engineer from June 1995 to October 1995 and as an Applications Engineer from October 1995 to November 1997. In these positions, they provided sales and marketing support for medium voltage drives, reviewed customer specifications, created preliminary designs, and developed medium voltage VFD systems quotations. James also analyzed material costs, manufacturing labor and burden rates, backlog, margins, contingencies, and customer terms and conditions.

From December 1997 to July 1999, Janik served as a Sales Engineer at Ansaldo Ross Hill, where they continued to provide sales and marketing support for medium voltage drives with customer visits, technical conferences, and trade shows.

In 1999, Janik joined TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company, initially working as an Applications Engineer from July 1999 to August 2000. In this role, they evaluated products, negotiated pricing structures with alliance partners, and managed low and medium voltage motor controls projects. James also promoted LV & MV product sales and marketing through various means, such as literature design, presentations, industry conferences and shows, training, and service.

Janik then became the Engineered Controls Team Leader at TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company, serving from August 2000 to December 2001. Following that, they served as the Special Products Team Leader from December 2001 to December 2002. Finally, they assumed the role of Sales Manager in January 2003, where they directed the internal sales team with a $40M annual sales responsibility in various industries, including Mining, Cement, HVAC, Metals, Pulp & Paper, Water/Wastewater, and Distribution. As the Sales Manager, they were also responsible for overseeing the project management team from order placement to shipment.

James Janik attended Texas A&M University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
