Ryan Sword possesses extensive experience in strategic leadership and innovation within the mining and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Acting Head of Innovation, Autonomy and Enterprise Improvement Planning at Teck Resources Limited since September 2016, Ryan has held multiple directorial roles, including Director of Strategy and Director of Value Delivery within the RACE21 initiative. Prior to this, Ryan was a Principal at Lodestone Partners and held various positions at Teck Resources Limited, including Lead for Continuous Improvement. Additional experience includes a Senior Associate role at McKinsey & Company and several political advisory positions within the Ontario Government. Ryan began a career in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Infantry Officer (Reservist). Educational qualifications include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Queen's University.
