Evan Boyst serves as a Senior Manager of R&D Formulas at Techtronic Industries since September 2023, overseeing the development and implementation of formulas for brand names like Hoover, Dirt Devil, and Oreck while conducting material evaluations. Previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Bhawins Technologies starting in March 2023, and served as the Senior Director of Client Solutions/Consulting at Element Materials Technology from February to November 2022, where responsibilities included project scoping and client communications. Boyst’s extensive background in product development includes a tenure as the Senior Technical Director at Avomeen Analytical Services from August 2012 to February 2022, leading multiple teams and managing customer-focused development efforts. Additional experience includes roles as a Technical Director and Senior R&D Formulation Chemist at Avomeen, Coatings Formulator at Evans Analytical Group, and Brewer/QA Manager at Frog Island Brewing Co. A foundation in chemistry was established with a B.S. in Professional Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University.
