Calum Forsyth is a VC Investor at Techstart Ventures LLP since January 2020 and a member of the RSE Young Academy of Scotland since July 2016, a prestigious group for outstanding young academics and professionals. Calum founded and served as CEO of Seed Haus, an angel fund in Edinburgh, from February 2017 to January 2020. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Strathclyde, where Calum was Director of Enterprise Solutions and Director of the Accelerator Programme, guiding startups to raise over £10M in funding. Additional experience includes working as a Risk Consultant at KPMG, advising on regulatory issues in financial services, and positions as a scientist at Cancer Research UK, Pfizer, and Link Technologies Ltd. Calum holds an MSci in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
