Tapan Kataria is a seasoned investor and program director with a strong background in venture capital and startup acceleration. Currently serving as an Investor In Residence at Techstars Detroit powered by JP Morgan, Tapan has also held the position of Program Director at MetLife Digital Accelerator powered by Techstars. Tapan is a Venture Partner in the Midwest for The Fund, and has provided advisory support at Hampton. Additionally, Tapan has contributed as the Head of Investment and Syndicate at Worklife and as a Director at Backstage Capital. Tapan earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising/Marketing Management with a Minor in Business Entrepreneurship from Michigan State University between 2015 and 2018.
