Jose Felipe Alvarez has a solid work experience in the field of automation engineering. Jose Felipe currently holds the position of Lead Field Automation Engineer at Technip Energies, starting in July 2021. Jose Felipe'sprevious experience includes working as an Automation Engineer at TechnipFMC from December 2019 to June 2021, and as a Field Automation Engineer from August 2018 to November 2019 in the same company. Additionally, they worked as a Field Automation Supervisor at Technip from September 2015 to December 2016, and as an Automation & Instrumentation Engineer from March 2012 to August 2014. Prior to that, they were an Instrumentation Engineer at TIPIEL from September 2010 to March 2012. Jose also gained experience as a Test Engineer at Texas Instruments from March 2009 to July 2009. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various projects, performing tasks such as detail and construction engineering, specification, tabulation, technical support, loop checks, functional tests, and start-up activities.

Jose Felipe Alvarez received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Instituto Tecnico Industrial Lucio Pavon Nunez in 2003. Jose Felipe then pursued an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and completed it in 2010.
