Shivaji Kumar has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Shivaji is currently the Director of Operations Excellence at Technical Safety BC, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, Shivaji worked at Rocky Mountaineer as the Director of Continuous Improvement and as a Senior Manager in both Continuous Improvement and Project Management.

Before joining Rocky Mountaineer, they worked at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority as a Project Manager and a Senior Business Process Advisor. In these roles, they managed projects, prepared project plans and documents, and worked closely with consultants and contractors.

Shivaji also has experience working at the City of Vancouver as a Business Process Team Lead and a Business Analyst specializing in Business Process Re-engineering. Additionally, they worked at Temenos as a Business Consultant and at Raymond James Ltd. as an Operations Business Analyst.

Their early experience includes working at Vancity, where they held multiple roles including Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, and Call Centre Business Analyst.

Shivaji Kumar's education history consists of multiple educational experiences. In 2001, they began studying at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they stayed until 2003. Shivaji then returned to the institute in 2003 and completed their studies in 2004. From 2003 to 2006, Shivaji Kumar continued their education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In 2007, they attended Global Knowledge for a certain period of time. Subsequently, Shivaji Kumar pursued further education at various institutions. Shivaji obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Institute of Project Management in 2014. In 2015, they enrolled at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology in 2017. Shivaji Kumar also acquired a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis, and an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Institute of Project Management, both in 2017. Their most recent educational endeavor was at ProSci ADKAR Change Management, where they studied Prosci until 2019.
