Esha Shah is an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the UMD Department of Computer Science since August 2023, Esha provides student support and assists in grading. Esha has experience as an Organizer for Technica, leading community events and workshops for underrepresented genders in technology since April 2023. A former Undergraduate Research Assistant in the FIRE Sustainability Analytics program, Esha worked with large data sets to develop environmental policies under Professor Ruangmas. Esha's prior internships include a Software Engineer Intern role at Adform, where Esha improved service scalability, and a Summer Intern position at EdgeCase, contributing to open-source projects and engaging with tech startups.
