Tarek Sultani, JD, CFA, currently serves as General Counsel at JLL Technologies since July 2021 and is a Lecturer at The University of Chicago Law School, where Sultani teaches seminars on Cross-Border Transactions, Negotiations, and Strategy. In addition, Sultani is a Charter Member of TechGC, a community for General Counsels. Prior experience includes roles at Google as Lead Counsel and Regulatory Counsel for Google Fiber, where strategic counseling and negotiation defined responsibilities. Sultani was also Director - Senior Counsel at Motorola, focusing on global distribution and strategic deals, and worked as an Associate at prominent law firms such as Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, receiving the UK Young Dealmaker of the Year award during that tenure. Tarek Sultani holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Government from Cornell University.
