Brian N. is a Senior Web Developer at Tech Start UCalgary since September 2023 and a Full Stack Developer at Code the Change YYC since January 2023. Serving as the Technical Manager and a Telemetry Team Member with the University of Calgary Solar Car Team since October 2021, Brian N. also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Tesla from May 2024 to August 2024, contributing to the Powerhub project. Prior roles include a Software Developer at IBM, where work involved Watson Orchestrate and CP4BA/BAW from May 2023 to May 2024, and serving as an Above & Beyond Computer Science Fellow at Meta from January 2024 to March 2024. Additionally, Brian N. was the Tech Lead for the Google Developer Students Club from September 2022 to December 2022 and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Calgary under Dr. Geoffrey Messier, focusing on Data Science and Machine Learning research, funded by NSERC USRA, from May 2022 to August 2022. Brian N. is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, expected to graduate in 2025.
