Asaf Ashkenazi is an experienced executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Verimatrix since September 2018, following roles as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. Additionally, Asaf is a member of the Board of Directors for both Tech San Diego and the San Diego Cyber Center of Excellence since October and November 2023, respectively. Previous positions include Vice President of IoT security products at Rambus, Board Member of The FIDO Alliance, Director of Product Management at Qualcomm, and Security Technology Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, among others. Asaf holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, attained in 2000.
