Penny Fowler has extensive experience in leadership and board governance across various sectors. Since July 2013, Penny has served as the Chairman of Herald & Weekly Times at News Corp Australia, alongside a role as Community Ambassador for the Good Friday Appeal. Additional prominent positions include Chair of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and the National Portrait Gallery, Board Member at Tourism Australia and Tech Mahindra, and Advisory Board member for the Bank of Melbourne Foundation and Visy. As of 2021, Penny is also an Ambassador for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF). Educationally, Penny holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University and has further developed expertise through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
