Douglas Trimpey began their work experience in 1979 with the US Army, where they served until their retirement in October 2000. After their military service, they joined Tec-Masters, Inc. in July 2000, working in training and business development.

Douglas Trimpey attended the University of Phoenix from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management and Operations.
